Eidevall accused of 'male aggression'But Hayes pushed Arsenal boss at full-timeEidevall fires back at Hayes' commentsGettyWHAT HAPPENED?
The two got into a heated argument at the end of the Gunners' 1-0 victory over Chelsea at Molineux on Sunday, which helped them win the competition for the second season running. After that clash, Hayes was seen shoving Eidevall, with the Chelsea manager clarifying that her push was as a result of Eidevall's "male aggression" during the game. The Gunners boss wholly refuted this accusation after full time, though, and instead directed Hayes to look at her own behaviour in some pointed remarks.

Speaking during the post-match press conference, Eidevall said: "I think there is definitely a way you behave in the technical area, there is also a way you behave after the game, being a good winner, but you also need to be a good loser and be responsible in both those situations. I’m happy with the way I conduct myself and others need to look in the mirror and see if they’re happy with themselves."

Eidevall explained the spat with Hayes as due to Chelsea's attempt to convert to a multi-ball system when they were in desperate need of a goal late in the game. And while this may be one the most visible in-person confrontations between Hayes and Eidevall in their final meeting as club managers, it is not the first time the two have had disagreements, owing to a significant rivalry spanning years.
WHAT NEXT FOR EIDEVALL AND HAYES?
The upcoming international break awaits, which will then be followed by the two teams' next game. Arsenal take on Bristol in the league on April 14, while Chelsea play Manchester United in the FA Cup semifinals on the same day.
